It was a bit of culture shock for him, as hes not used to staying in such expensive spots. As he mentioned in the opening moments, his stay was part of a work trip and paid for by the company. His time at the hotel in the Windy City got off on a rocky and hilarious start even before he entered the building. As Im staring, the door to my truck opens, he said. As Im turning, out of the corner of my eye, I see somebody start to get in, and so just out of a reaction, I just turn and shove this guy. And he just kind of stumbles backwards, and Im like, Dude, what are you doing? He said, Sir, Im your valet. But in my defense, I dont drive the type of vehicle that you typically valet. Later, after finally getting into the hotel, he has a brief but hilarious encounter with the person behind the desk, who helps him check in. But that wasnt all. Several hours later, he received a phone call from the hotel asking him how the room was and if everything was OK. This courtesy call had Chad more than a little confused. My mom, who was born and currently lives in Jamaica had never experienced winter weather before. She spent the holidays with me and my husband in West Hartford, Connecticut. We got over 8 inches of snow and during the snowfall, I recorded her reaction seeing snow for the very first time at 63 years old.

A few days before Christmas, my husband and I were traveling through the airport on our way to Florida when something magical happened. I was feeling anxious about flying after a long year, when suddenly Buddy the Elf and Jovie appeared out of nowhere. At first we thought it was just airport noise, until we turned around and realized they were fully in character and spreading Christmas cheer. Yes, its likely the fastest and most efficient form of transportation, especially when you need to get to a destination quickly. Air travel, for the most part, is a big hassle and headache. The TSA is constantly changing its safety regulations and procedures, and they can and do often vary from one airport to the next. Do I need to take my shoes off? Do I need to take my belt off? Can my electronics be left in the bag or do they need to be taken out and placed in their own, separate bin? It's just one headache after another when flying. Nate is well aware of the frustrations of air travel. Once I was checking a bag, and the guy behind the counter sees my ticket says, Nathan, he said. The license says, Nathaniel, and he was, like, This is not good. He goes, These names dont match. Nate tried to help with the dilemma. And I was, like, But they match, right? Like, you can see the leap we took to get from one to the other? he said. Later in the clip, Nate tried once again to help the man who was confused about the three different names. I said, Look, Ill give you that those names dont match, he said. But what I think is going to help a ton is the picture on the ID. Something that Ive always loved that they did, and I think, with 70 percent of that name matching, and 100 percent face, its 170 percent. I think Ill get through. He mentioned what happened when he flew with a friend who did the Sign of the Cross before takeoff. He asked his friend whether that was for everyone on the plane or just him, because that could make for an awkward situation if disaster were to strike. Im like, When youre doing it, are you praying for everybody? he asked. He goes, Of course. I go, You better be. Cause thatd be weird, wouldnt it? This plane goes down and everybodys dead and on fire in a cornfield, except for you just sitting there: Oh, I should have prayed for everybody. I made a giant mistake. Theres going to be a lot of questions when the authorities arrive. Jacob, the 7 year old with the loose tooth, was complaining that the tooth was being stubborn, and wasn’t coming out. Jacob didn’t like the idea of twisting it around and around. So mommy and daddy pitched the idea of Pumpkee, the orange kitty, helping the Tooth Fairy out. Little Pumpkee was to perform a speedy kitty dash chasing the red laser dot to pluck the tooth out. It was a fun and exciting alternative to other scarier methods. Mommy, who is also a dental hygienist, tied a little string around the tooth, and around kitty’s waist. A comedian got heckled, and it was shockingly polite and also pretty hilarious. The young man was doing his stand-up routine when someone from the audience began yelling at him. Watch the short, but hysterical, clip to hear the unusual and surprisingly polite way an audience member heckled the funnyman. Stand-up comedy has to be one of the most challenging and, frankly, frightening things anyone can do. Most people have an absolutely paralyzing fear of public speaking or really doing anything where that will result in a bunch of eyeballs on them. Now, take those fears of public speaking and add the pressure of trying to be funny and entertaining an entire audience. That sounds pretty terrifying, right? Just the thought of that situation is enough to cause many people to break out in a cold sweat. Regardless of how scary that is and how much guts it would take to get up and try stand-up, some people will still choose to heckle - to be loud, rude, obnoxious and criticize the comic. In a clip posted on YouTube, a comedian was in the middle of his routine when an audience member started heckling him. But instead of immediately shouting something rude or obscene, this loud, disruptive audience member was polite, making for an unexpectedly hilarious scene. The quick-witted comedian turned the disruption into a laugh-out-loud moment, shooting back with a hysterical response. Would I like one from up there? the comedian says. After a few moments where the heckler and the comedian exchange pleasantries, the comedian gives him the floor, telling him to go ahead and do your heckle.
