Marriage is not the time for selfishness. Each person must give freely of themselves in their marriage. When they choose to spend 100% of their time, energy, and resources toward the well-being of their spouse, they will reap a blessing so great that there will be no room for them to feel deprived in their marriage.

There’s no doubt that marriage is a God-given gift, to be valued, cherished, and enjoyed.

Dear Jesus, please give me guidance on how to navigate life after an affair. It is very troublesome and difficult right now. If You want my spouse and I to reconnect at some point, please make this clear to me. I trust You with my entire life.

When couples include each other even though they are capable of accomplishing things all by themselves, they’re building trust in their relationship.

Next time you must deliver a hard word to your spouse, pray about it first, and wait 48 hours for your anger and other big emotions to subside. Then provide the message with kindness.

Keep your swords up. Your backs together. And the real enemy clearly in your sights.

As Christians, we go to the Lord in prayer daily. We pray for our health, safety, and concerns; however, how many of us are praying for our spouses?

Affordability is not the issue, but whether they cost us something—even if it’s thoughtfulness, energy, unselfishness, or time.

Scripture promises that the Spirit is with us when two or three are gathered. As a couple, two are better than one. Although it is great to pray as a couple for your individual needs, it is also equally important to pray for our country year-round.

I’m thankful we get to choose what we want our homes to look like. We can create a place where people are free to grow and make mistakes, knowing they are still accepted and loved. Or we can make a place where it’s never safe to let down our guard.

If you and your spouse are considering mission work, know that this is what the Lord commands in Matthew 28:18-20. This is a call for all people, whether married, single, or divorced. Our ultimate purpose on earth is to help others come to know Jesus and train them in the faith.

Don't become enslaved to money or debt. Become enslaved to the one and only king who grants you the freedom to follow his calling whenever he chooses.

Every time we step outside of our comfort zone, our spiritual roots grow just a little bit deeper. When we take calculated risks, we discover what we are capable of in HIS hands.
