What makes her performance even more impressive is the confidence she carries on stage. It’s clear that this isn’t her first rodeo. She just does her thing, and the audience—including the judges—is completely captivated. As she sings, the room is quiet as they take in her performance in awe. 

When she’s finally done, judges Michael Bublé and Niall Horan stand and clap, though all four judges watched her in awe. She couldn’t have made the song sound any cleaner. Though she didn’t continue in the singing competition, it is certain that she will still have a promising singing career. 

If she can cover “Blue” this well, she could probably tackle just about any song she chooses with ease. This performance surely got her some fans who will be watching to see what other amazing things she will do.

Nicholas, the youngest of the bunch, also plays piano and uses his voice to add music to the family.

People rushed by with coffees in hand, phones buzzing, lives swirling…but then something in the air shifted. One by one, pedestrians slowed. Some sat. Others leaned against a brick wall just to listen. And what these two young lads delivered was a version of a timeless American classic that felt free, unhurried, and full of soul — like the song suddenly remembered what it was always meant to be.

It’s a song so woven into American life that nearly everyone carries it in a playlist somewhere — a tune covered by dozens of artists through the years. But somehow, these two London street musicians tapped into something different. Something effortless.

Max appears to love what he does. He has a genuine spirit about him with a sweet smile on his face, and he lights up the stage. The judges get super excited about his performance and cannot help but stand in the middle of it and clap. 

There is such a suave tone, and the performance is riveting. The instruments backing him are also phenomenal. The instrumentalists kick it up a notch, and Max begins to shine even brighter with awe upon the faces of judges and cheers in the crowd.

You will not be able to sit still during this performance. You will be dancing along to the Stevie classic with this young man. As he sings, “When you check it out. When you get it off your trip,” you will be completely blown away and wish you were there in person.

Suddenly, a key change occurs, and Max seems remarkably comfortable, dancing with composure in his voice. He has such incredible moves. There is a significant pause, and all of a sudden he belts out “Don’t you worry ‘bout a thing!” He has the craziest range and most stunning runs. Max later goes on to receive a high honor of the Mic Drop award to sing at the Rose Parade from his coach.

This is clearly a God-given talent. Anything that we have to offer has been given from God. We are His creations and He is glorified through us.

The a cappella group, known as The Gentlemen of the College, was founded in 1990 at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Each member is a college student at the university. The group has performed all over America and a few other territories. 

They’ve sung at the White House, the United States Capitol, the National Constitution Center, the Waldorf Astoria, and the Greenbrier Hotel. They’ve sung for the Governor of Virginia and the former Queen of England and even appeared on "The Price is Right" and ABC News’ "Good Morning Charleston." 

Their “Bring it On Home to Me” cover is mesmerizing, with rich harmony. The Gentlemen breathe new life into Sam Cooke’s song, making it sound fresh and timeless. It is easy to see why the group is considered talented and prestigious. 

Each young man is very skilled, and they have a natural and brotherly energy that hums the whole time they’re on the stage. It takes a lot of practice and organization to make such a large group sound harmonious, and their hard work has paid off. At the end of the video, the audience whoops and claps, and several people even give the group a well-deserved standing ovation. You’ll want to sing along with the group when you listen to this!

Everyone loves musical covers. That must be the case, as they have experienced a significant increase in popularity over the last decade or so. There are hundreds of pages on YouTube filled with nothing but musicians playing and singing the tunes of others. Additionally, nearly every performance on shows like The Voice, American Idol and America's Got Talent is a cover.

It's clear that covers are here to stay. Anyone who thought covers were on their way out is likely to be severely disappointed. But who doesn't like to hear someone else's interpretation of a song we all know and love? It may be better than the original, or it might be much, much worse. Either way, you never really know what you're going to get with them, and that makes them interesting and worth a listen or two.

One of the most covered songs of all time is Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'." Every time you turn around, someone is singing and playing that beloved song. However, most of the time, it's nothing more than a carbon copy of the original 1981 version. In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of musicians performs Journey's iconic 80s tune, but adds their own signature sound, making the song their own.

It's an utterly delightful version, with a different take and sound of the original. The lyrics are all the same, but with a much different feel. And not being a fan of the original (which I find entirely too overplayed and overrated), I enjoy this one much more than the one from Journey.
