2 Sisters Sing ‘Where We’ll Never Grow Old’ Hymn Duet

Two musically gifted sisters performed “Where We’ll Never Grow Old” as they sang about their eternal home.

Aging is a process that has never and will never skip over anyone. Everyone is subject to growing older every year, day and even hour. No one enjoys getting older or enduring reminders that they are aging with things like birthdays and the discovery of gray hairs.

But, as Savannah and Sarah Church sing in a video posted on YouTube, there is a place where aging does not happen. Growing older does not exist in this place. No one must dye their hair to conceal gray hairs or take other steps to hide aging because it simply does not happen there. Of course, heaven is this location “Where We’ll Never Grow Old,” as the song’s title states.

In the song’s opening verse, the two sisters, with their bluegrass, country-type sound, beautifully sing about and describe this place where growing older does not take place.

“I have heard of a land on the far away strand
‘Tis a beautiful home of the soul
Built by Jesus on High, where we never shall die
‘Tis a land where we never grow old”

In the second verse, the young women state that it will be a place where they will be more than happy to sing praises to the King for all of eternity.

Following the young ladies’ stunning vocal performance about the area “where we’ll never grow old,” the crowd in the clip, who sit and take in the musical demonstration, erupt in thunderous applause.

One man in the clip further praises Sarah and Savannah’s performance. He claims to have “never heard a better arrangement on that song.”

The video’s description explains that Savannah and Sarah’s performance in the clip happened in 2015. Also, “Where We’ll Never Grow Old” is a song both women know quite well. They grew up singing it in church.

John 14:2 “In my Father’s house are rooms enough; if it was not so, would I have said that I am going to make ready a place for you?”

‘God Gave Me Freedom’ Anthem Lights Original Song

A group of gifted vocalists best known for their covers, mashups and beautiful harmonies, Anthem Lights, is back with an original song.

In life, painful and difficult situations do take place. Often those circumstances are due to poor decisions and wrong choices on our part. Sometimes God steps in and takes away the hurt.

However, in other instances, He takes a more passive role in situations. The Bible is filled with hard-headed and strong-willed people. Instead of doing as God commanded, they tried things their own way, resulting in pain and failure. God would allow them to twist and flail until they eventually relented, gave in and turned to Him.

God’s way, while it is not often the easiest route, always leads to victory and freedom. Anthem Lights, in their song “God Gave Me Freedom,” sing about the liberty and power found in the Lord.

In the song’s opening verse, the guys sing how they went through a difficult period, indicating they tried things on their own. God was faithful during this hardheadedness, the song states. He remained by their side, protecting and guiding them.

Later in the song, they mention how they’ve come through the other side of their ordeal better. Now, after going through that situation, they all understand what God has done for them. He has given them freedom, which only He can give.

“I’m on the other side, I must be dreaming
I made it through the night, woke up to meaning
Now I recognize that this is freedom
God gave me freedom”

There are people bound and determined to do things their way. Often, trying and burdensome circumstances await people of that mindset. But God has a will and purpose for everyone. He has a plan for all people, using their God-given talents and abilities. His way always leads to victory and freedom!

2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there the heart is free.”

Choir Sings Chilling Version Of ‘It Is Well With My Soul’ In Church

Several musically gifted singers performed a beautiful rendition of the classic hymn “It is Well with My Soul.”

Hymns are beloved pieces of music, and rightfully so. Songs like “Amazing Grace,” “Great is Thy Faithfulness” and “How Great Thou Art” are powerfully and expertly written. Their lyrics compact so much meaning in line after line, perfectly articulating the power and magnitude of God’s love, mercy and grace.

“It is Well with My Soul” is another hymn that is a favorite of many. In a clip posted on YouTube, The Academy Singers choir from Brentwood Academy dazzle with their elegant performance of the cherished hymn.

The clip opens with a shot of the inside of a little, sparsely decorated chapel from the back. The only noticeable thing on the church’s walls is a small cross that hangs dead center on the wall behind the pulpit.

Viewers see several people sitting in the church’s pews. There is also a low hum as the clip opens. Seconds later, the camera switches angles, now giving a look from the front of the church and at the choir members.

One young woman on the left side of the screen stands up, sings a line or two, and is then quickly followed by several others who do the same thing. From that point forward, the many choir members stand to their feet and sing out the lyrics about the well-being of their souls despite what they may encounter.

“When peace like a river, attendeth my way
When sorrows like sea billows roll
Whatever my lot, thou has taught me to say
It is well, it is well, with my soul”

What a powerful testimony to say that no matter what may happen in this life, everything will be fine, all will be OK, especially in regard to my soul.

Brentwood Academy describes itself as a “co-educational, independent, college preparatory school dedicated to nurturing and challenging each whole person – body, mind, and spirit – to the glory of God,” according to their YouTube channel.

Matthew 16:26 “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

Choir Of Students Perform ‘King Of Kings’ In Empty Church

A choir of immensely talented vocalists gives a dazzling rendition of a song praising the Lord for his mighty and unending love and power.

Artists, in order to produce their works, often have a variety of tools at their disposal. Filmmakers use cameras, microphones and actors. Sculptors use chisels and knives to achieve their desired outcome. Painters, of course, have paint, several brushes and a canvas.

Musicians may have the most devices available to create their specified sound. Instruments come in many shapes, sizes and formats. There is even an entire classification of instruments. But the most stunning instrument is the one created by God Himself, the human voice.

In a clip posted on YouTube, The Academy Singers, in a beautiful and vacant church, turn in a stunning a cappella performance of “King of Kings.”

The short clip opens with the choir members standing on either side of the church’s center aisle, snapping and singing along together. The camera pushes forward, up toward the front of the church. A young lady, before the camera reaches the front of the church, steps out and plants herself in the center of the aisle.

She beautifully sings the track’s opening verse about Christ’s coming to a lost and dying world to save a people who had no hope and no future. The first verse perfectly articulates the poor, wretched shape of the world and how Christ, in His mercy, came to be a willing sacrifice for all mankind.

The song’s chorus is, understandably, one of praise for all Christ did for man, giving and bringing hope to a lost and dying world.

“Praise the Father, praise the Son
Praise the Spirit, three in one
God of glory, Majesty
Praise forever to the King of Kings”

The rest of the video is essentially a demonstration of expert-level a cappella singing as the young performers praise Christ for His love, mercy and sacrifice.

Isaiah 9:6 “For to us a child has come, to us a son is given; and the government has been placed in his hands; and he has been named Wise Guide, Strong God, Father Forever, Prince of Peace.”

Hallelujah

Hallelujah is the opening song on the Chapel Songs album. This project was five years in the making following the release of Worship In Spirit and Truth back in 2018.

Christian High Schoolers Perform ‘Behold Our God’

A group of musically gifted high school students displayed their tremendous talents while singing about the power and magnitude of God.

Christians serve a wonderful and loving God. He sent His one and only son to die a painful and undeserving death on behalf of mankind. Christ’s spilled blood on the cross covers all sin and shame, blotting it out as if it never existed. What an enormous and world-changing show of grace, mercy and power!

An awe-inspiring video posted on YouTube shows students from Fountainview Academy, a Christian high school in Canada, belting out the lyrics to “Behold Our God.”

As one young man sings the tune’s first verse, he perfectly puts the power of God into perspective. God’s strength, power and capability are hard to grasp with the human mind. The human mind is limited, but God’s power knows no restriction.

“Who has held the oceans in His hands?
Who has numbered every grain of sand?
Kings and nations tremble at His voice
All creation rises to rejoice”

A young woman next walks into the frame and beautifully sings the song’s second verse. During this verse, the camera reveals other high school students playing various instruments.

At around the 1:45-minute mark of the clip, dozens of students join in, singing out the lyrics about God’s almighty and mind-blowing power as they walk through an idyllic forest. The gifted students blend their voices together, hitting all the right notes.

In addition to the students’ breathtaking musical performances, the video is also a sight to be seen. The short, 4-and-a-half-minute clip is wonderfully shot and edited together. Throughout the video, there are wide sweeping shots of the stunning scenery. The masterful camera work helps to enhance the song’s lyrics by showing the beauty of God’s creation.

Fountainview Academy is an educational institution for high school students in Columbia, Canada.  It’s a place where “each staff member is personally committed to the eternal success of every student,” according to its YouTube channel.
