This music video from The Collingsworth Family was filmed in 2021 at the Liberty University's Center for Music and Worship Arts in Lynchburg VA. Many people online shared their thoughts about the performance.

The text and music for ‘No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus' was written by Charles Frederick Weigle. He was born on November 20, 1871 in Lafayette, IN. Charles Weigle was an inspiring preacher and gifted songwriter, and he had produced hundreds of songs and edited several hymn books during his lifetime. But the words from ‘No One Ever Cared for Me Like Jesus,’ which came from a heart that had been broken, are probably his best known and have been a comfort to many.

This country classic was made famous by Randy in 1987 and still remains one of his signature songs to this day.

Siblings Lindsay, Emily and Matt plus their friend Alex, make up the Southern Raised Bluegrass band. The group was raised in the Ozark Mountains and they have blended their traditional music upbringing with multiple genres and their deep-rooted faith. For years, they’ve entertained us with popular covers of songs such as ‘What A Day That Will Be’ and ‘Shenandoah.’

The group describes themselves as creating a ‘Southern Raised trademark sound where classical meets bluegrass and city streets meets country roads. SR has morphed a progressive sound that spans Christian Country/ Bluegrass, Celtic and Classical.’
