Center of Praise Ministries was conceptualized by the divine directive given to our founder and visionary, Bishop Parnell M. Lovelace, Jr.  While yet a student at Oral Roberts University, Bishop Lovelace was given the mandate to begin a ministry in his native home of Sacramento, California. The ministry has served to embrace people of all backgrounds with a message of unconditional love and abundant grace with core one goal: making disciples of Jesus Christ.

Cedric Bailey is a STELLAR Award winning member of the Rejoice! Musical Soul Food Radio Network. Cedric Bailey’s “Traffic Jam” is designed to help make the commute home from school or work less stressful. Cedric serves up a good dose of inspirational thoughts while playing the hottest current Gospel hits and the old school favorites from the past. Cedric is the 2014 STELLAR Award radio announcer of the year and is a highly sought after host for events across the country.

The Lord has truly blessed Clarence Ivy with one of the best voices in radio! For the past few decades Bay Area radio listeners have been entertained and inspired by that voice. He works to bring you classics from all the Gospel greats each Saturday afternoon!

Dr Linda Washington is  compelled to encourage, to incline, and to teach the Word of GOD! Pastor Washington earned Doctorate in Theology and Christian Counseling, she has been a servant and called into the five-fold ministry proclaiming the Gospel through the teaching of the Bread of Life for over 20 years. Pastor Washington have volunteered her time teaching men and women incarcerated, homeless outreach mission, and recovery environment since 2003 that allowed her to witness lives being change and converted to Christ. She is the CEO/Pastor of Psalms Recovery Wellness Ministries 501c3 nonprofit.

At Mount Calvary Baptist Church, their mission is to lead individuals into a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and equip them for service to God and humanity. Grace Bible Fellowship was birthed in a local hair salon owned by Reverend Kirkland and Sister Qwivander Smith. For one year, God’s favor rained over the weekly bible study held at the Heavenly Hair Beauty Salon in Antioch.

Remaining faithful to Christ and to the leadership at Fremont Bible Fellowship, in January 2003, Reverend Kirkland A. Smith, Sister Smith and 30 charter members marched into what is now known as Grace Bible Fellowship of Antioch CA.

Within one year, explosive growth in ministry and membership manifested and by January 2004 Grace Bible Fellowship celebrated the move of God which now serves over 1500 members each Saturday and Sunday and countless other ministries designed to meet the needs of the community.
